Turbo advice???
Alright guys and girls,
Here is what I am looking toput together on my old B18C1:
Since it is worn out (150k HARD A$$ miles), I am looking to do a nice Honda parts rebuild on it (bearings, gaskets, oil pump, water pump, timing belt, seals, valve guides and seals, and what ever else looks bad). Then I am also looking to get some Endyn forged rods, some Endyn forced induction pistons (9.1-9.4:1 CR), put a Golden Eagle block guard (vented better to prevent hot spots) in and bore it to spec and bolt it together with some ARp head bolts. I can get an old T25 turbo for free, that needs to be rebuilt. I was planning on getting it rebuilt to the A/R trim level best suited to the B18C, a cast-iron exhaust manifold, and all of the other stuff that goes with it.
Then I get some 550cc injectors (maybe with the RC special currently going on - thanks Honda-Tech) and high-flow fuel pump, and then get my ECU done by Hondata and spend some time at a dyno.
Does anybody have a better way of doing this? I am looking at boosting all the way to the 12 psi limit of the Hondata system, on stock sensors, and expect to lay down about 280 - 300 hp at the wheels.
Does that sound about right? Am I missing some key points? Any recommendations on the parts I have picked out (Endyn, Hondata, etc.)? Will I blow my motor to pieces?
Any help would be much appreciated.
