Turbo
I'm thinking about buying a Turbo for a 00 SI. Everyone talks about greddy's so i went to greddy.com and it's kits were $3k!!! I come i hear about $1.5k? What's the difference? Also, along with a turbo, what else do i have to do to the car? and how much is that?

O.K. nobody is answering his question. The turbo that you are hearing costs 1,500 bucks is the greddy kit for the SOHC civics. It is alot cheaper than the DOHC greddy turbo kit which is about three grand. Hehehe, somedays it can actually be good to have a SOHC!!!

The SI kit for $3000 also comes with an intercooler, where as the $1500 kit doesn't (I believe)

Re: Turbo (Racing rice)
The drag is a complete kit...and makes FAR more power than the greddy, and it also offers the most potential for upgrading....ever seen someone running 11's w/ a stock greddy turbo??
I have several friends running 11's w/ the stock drag turbo...the t3/t4 is just a better turbo for our cars...

Re: Turbo (civic_hatch_gurl)
As I said in another post...custom is good only if you've got a lot of time to look for parts and the tools to bend and shape them to fit your car...not good for the novice and hard to get support if something goes wrong.... I'd say spending $3k to $4k on a bolt on kit and then tuning it later is the best way to go...
