turbo/3'' piping
ok .....hello people if your runnin 3'' piping from down pipe noo cat, 3'' all the way to the exhaust with a 3'' inlet is it possible u'll lose a lot of power?

you have alot to learn about turboed cars...
3 inch (or just a bigger exhaust) will be the single best investment when it comes to a turboed car...
you will see power GAINS, not LOSSES with a 3inch.... and no cat/no res with a good muffler sounds awesome on a turbo car..

Dude, 3 inch downpipe to a 3 inch flex pipe to 3 inch piping all the way back to an Apex'i N1 turbo muffler sounds awesome and will help power. That's what I have on my car

You don't have to worry about losing power with a big exhaust on a turbo setup. The less restriction after the turbo on the hot side, the better.
I'd concentrate more on getting a proper exhaust manifold. Log, top mount, ramhorn, etc. It all depends on where you want to make power, and how much you have to spend.
The turbo spools up from exhaust coming from the manifold. Different manifolds will change the way the turbo works with the engine. After the exhaust gases leave the turbo, that's it. The turbo's done using them. That's why, unlike an N/A engine, you can run a bigger exhaust without worrying about losing power. A bigger exhaust system after the turbo will just let the exhaust move more freely, so the turbo can bring in more exhaust from the manifold quicker.
You actually upgrade your exhaust after the turbo (downpipe, cat, muffler, etc.), to improve exhaust flow before and in the turbo.
Therefore, as a general rule in a turbo car, a bigger exhaust system will always help with throttle response and power. Unless you get something ridiculously huge.

might create some lag on lower end.. but can make a noticable increase on top end.. same goes for IC piping, increasing diameter will allow for more hp at less psi

I hope I'm not losing power because of my 3" DP and exhaust( No cat)

dude it was a joke, 4" will make more power then 3" so if you go from a 4" to 3" exhaus t you will loose power, same being if you go from 3 to 2, the looses will be exponential, and with your 11sec setup next season, lets hope you can put your own name beside it, not the guy who built/tuned it.

i run a thermal RnD 3" turbo exhaust on my jdm gsr swapped and turboed DA. sounds awsome, really quiet, everyone loves it, and lots more power, quicker spool and better top end then my old 2.75" piping with apexi N1 exhaust.........3 inch is the way to go, its funny that my honda is the quietest car around with exhaust but its pushin more power then most of the really really loud cars.......everyones right

Thats a totoally different reason. 'A good turbo exhaust is no exhaust', pure and simple. Bigger DP increases pressure drop across the wheel. AR changes flow characteristics, mainly overall flow and initial flow needed to spool the turbine.
Less back pressure after the turbo will allow more energy to be put into spining the turbine than pushing gases out of the way - regardless of rpm. A small AR increases pre-turbine pressure quicker, meaning a higher pressure drop across the wheel, meaning quicker spool up, but chokes flow at high-flow amounts. A larger AR takes longer to build up the required pressure to start spooling, but allows for less restriction at high flow levels.
In other words, AR affects pre-turbine flow and pressure, dp size affects post-turbo flow and pressue. Its more complicated, but long posts are never read thoroughly here.

you cant loose power with that kinda setup, you can loose power when you see people running 3'' downpipes then into a bottleneck 2.5in exhaust. of course those are people who dont know ****
