Default turbine rust

anyone have problems with the turbine rusting?

so if i cc my mani and then just spray my turine with some high temp paint from autozone? i will be set

If you are gonna ceramic coat your manifold you might as well send out your turbine too. I wouldn't get the Autozone stuff though. I haven't seen any quality paint there. Maybe they have it where you are though.

I'd trust that paint, its rated to 1300 degrees i think... thats just me though. I think it'll at least stop the rust.

I got it from Summit. It is the DEI silicon paint. Good stuff. Haven't fired it up yet but I am more than confident in it.

i think im gonna go for it, cc my mani and high temp paint my turbine, im not too worried about the heat being a problem but keeping the cc will keep my mani in good shape and help with the heat and the paint will keep the turbine from rusting, im happy with that.
alright ill get some of that for the turbine, thank you for the info

to tell you the truth, im having second thoughts about painting the turbine but i am getting my mani ceramic coated
