Default turb valvetrain doesnt matter?

When i searched about turbo and valvetrains alot of people say that they dotn rebuild theres because they stop making power at 8 grand, does that mean if u do upgrade and take to 8500 or a little higher u would go faster?

alotta people with stock valvetrain and stock cam don't upgrade because upping the rev limit wouldn't net them any significant gains. if you run an aftermarket turbo cam, depending on specs, it could be recommended that you upgrade the valvetrain as well, esp if you plan to up the rev limit, to prevent everything from floating at higher rpms.
