Default trying to decide on a turbo kit????

i have been doing some reading for awhile now and still cant decide on what kind of turbo kit i want to go with. Ill tell every one my curent motor setup......

1990 Civic Si Car,
1997 SOHC V-Tec (D16Y8) motor,
PR3/PW0 OBD-0 V-tec ecu,
Full 2.25 cat-back exhaust.

So what do yall think would be the best turbo kit to go with, I was wanting to run maybe 8 PSI??? or more if i can. Thanks to every one who helps.

personaly i would convert your car to obd1 so you have more options for tuning. Mainly your kit choice will be based on your hp goals and if you need to keep it smog legal or not.

i think that i am going to do that, but i want a "Full-Race" manifold for sure tho. I've done alot of reading about the full race kits and from what i read they are one of the best. but i still have time and still working on saving my money!

any more ideas/inputs?

I actually know a guy trying to sell a nearly mint Y8 setup if you're interested. He's asking $800.

Can 300HP be made off of 8psi?

My current setup is supposed to push about 7/8psi. Right now its untuned I have an unfinished DP.

Setup is:
T3 log style mild steel manifold
TD04 16G turbo w/ T3 flange welded on (Done by the best guy in the area, so it's going to hold )
6" Johnny Race Car FMIC
DSM BOV
PLX M-300 WB
Uberdata tuning
Homemade intercooler piping and Downpipe (DP is all cut and laid out, just need to find a closer welder.)

Let me try to find the link to the guy selling the Garret T3 turbo setup.

edit: PM exare250 he's got the kit
