i think it's safe to say that as long as you don't live in or around the west coast, you are good to modify your car. NJ is strict on emissions but after inspection you can go back to your open pcv's, dumptubes, and test pipes .

south carolina here also..no emmisions or anything....only problem i had was loud muffler. got a greddy sp2 now so i have no probs. tint isn't legal either but haven't had a problem yet
