Have a Honda B16 with a Garret T28 turbo. Bigger fuel rail, fuel pump, injectors blah blah. So every time i go to get gas, i take the gas cap off (pssshhhhhh!!) hear the air coming out of the tank, so pretty normal so far. But then when i start the car back up, i try to crank it and it starts and boggs down and dies in like 5 seconds. In order to get it running, i have to hold throttle like half way and start it up and keep it revved until it feels warmed up enough to idle on its own. This takes about a min and a half or so. It feels like the whole car is shaking bad too when it is warming up for that min and a half. It will do it even when i prime the fuel pump several times.

Anyone have any ideas???

too many questions left un-answered.THe shaking, does the shaking come from the motor and does it only do it after the "re fueling"

whats the car tuned on?What chassis?Does the car run perfect otherwise?

I have a completely stock B18A1 in a '91 Integra and I have the exact same problem minus the shaking. It only happens occasionally but it happened today when I was refueling. I have no idea what the cause is.

the shaking comes from the motor like it's being shoved into the chassis right from the motor mounts. ONLY after refueling and runs great other wise. Tuned on Hondata S300

 

That sounds like a misfire if the engine is shuddering.
