Can the D16Y8 SOHC VTEC transmission fit the zc?

 

Need some help here fellas, simple yes or no would be appreciated...Damn

 

this may help you i have a friend that did the zc swop in his 88 crx he did not have the transmission when the motor went in. had to use to use his stock trans do the swop and it went well, but he did do the zc transmission later down the road tho.

I am pretty sure the block of the ZC is based off the D-series so the tranny should bolt up with no problem.
