Default Traction Issues

Hey guys I was just wondering how you people get traction on the streets with like 12-11sec hondas. I'm curious as to what you do on the streets to get traction when racing from a stop. I have a jrsc and had to get traction in 1st and 2nd and its not even that fast. I/m going turbo soon so any ideas or recommendation tires etc: would be appreciated. Thanks
