traction, everything is done already?
So what are you high HP guys doing for traction? I dont have a problem really in first or second, but third and fourth is where i start getting alot of wheel hop.
car is a del sol already running 430 lb springs in the front, and 545 in the rear.
Hasport mounts.
Full race traction bar.
BFG drag radials
First and second seems to spin the radials just enough to keep a solid pull without any hopping. When i throw it in third, i start getting some hopping that gets progressively worse. Any remedies to this before i turn up the boost?

I felt that mine spin completely in first and second also, but once it hit third, it hopped but isnt really that bad and im running the same tire as you. Could it be because of the tire? I get perfect traction running low boost tho, so the tire is great

More chassis stiffening, fender braces, solid strut dar, cage, stiffer mounts w/ dampener or rear solid mount etc etc.

you can try to limit it or try an even stiffer spring in the rear

this is mostly a street car, and it rides pretty stiff as is.. I guess ill just put up with it for the time being. Maybe when i up the boost it will spin enough to not hop

drop tire pressure to 14-16 when racing at the track.
dont use the 205, run a 225 or 235 instead of the 205.

What is wrong with the 205's?

I run 225/45/17 BFG's on my 17" wheels and 1st and 2nd gear is useless on the street. But then again. I don't really heat the tires much on the street, and I do run them at 32 psi on the street. THis is on low boost. Once I hit third tho, game over for anyone. At the track on high boost it gripped damn well considering, and that ws at 20psi tire pressures. 126@121mph. I also have LSD tho. Do you have LSD? if so what kind
