Default Track time. What do you think?

I raced my car at Englishtown Raceway in NJ this weekend and this is how i did.
I am running a 93 civic ex w/ the greddy kit @ 8psi. Is this a normal time or should i be doing better? I ran w/ nitto nt450's 15" on GSR Rims @30psi.

R/T .806
60' 2.508
1/8 9.924
1/4 15.071
MPH 94.93

Does this time seem right at 8 psi on a d16z6 or should i be running in the mid 14's?
Let me know what you think.

Troy

i launch at 35k and i let the clutch off fairly easy because i would have wheel spin through out first.

I would bring the tire pressure down to about 20 psi in the front tires. That helped me bring my times down.

Yeah that 60ft is horrid. With more practice you can get into the 14's easily.

HAHA, do you realize what you said? I had to bring it up, but you said 35k which would be 35,000 rpms, DAMN!!! Bikes dont even hit that, what kind of airplane engine you got in there, haha.....j/k.....I think you meant 3500rpms...

Definatley gotta work on those 60's... though I should talk, I'm stuck with 2.4 60' times myself!

But for reference, I got a 14.63 @ 95.01mph at 6.5psi on my GReddy powered D16Y8 in a heavier 6G EX coupe.. you should be at least in the mid 14's.

Thanks for the reply guys. How exactly would i work on getting my 60' time down?
Just play around w/ the tire pressure and launch? It seems like whatever rpm i launch at i have wheel spin. I'll try to get some 20x6x14 slicks for next time.
VTC what size and type of tires were you using for your run and what rpm did you launch at?

You cant just dump the clutch on street tires. You HAVE to feather the clutch. Rev it up to about 4500 and ease out of it. Much like you are at a stop light. Its pretty rough on your clutch though.
