tps sensor + detonation
when the tps sensor is plugged in the car detonates in 4th and 5th gear, when i leave the car running and unplug the sensor then plug it back in the check engine light comes on but the car doesnt detonate, although it makes no power. the tps was calibrated using a crome pro unit not the hondata unit the car runs on(no tuners in area). any ideas of what could be causing this. btw i just replaced the tps sensor trying to eliminate problems. any ideas would be greatly appreciated

something is obviously wrong if you are getting audible detonation. If you think the tps sensor reads incorrectly or something then check the voltage on it with a multimeter. Maybe you changed something with your setup, got a bad tank of gas, didn't have your iat adjustment setup properly for this weather, etc. I would look into getting another tune.
