Default total timing on d15b turbo

I am running a JDM d15b with a t25 turbo, dsm 450's and crome. I have the a/f tunned to 11.5-12.0 in boost and I cannot get rid of my detonation above 8 PSI. I have turned back the timing in the higher portion of the tables all the way to 8 degrees and still have detonation above 5000 RPM. What else can I try to get rid of my detonation? What are other people running for timing on a JDM d15b above 8 PSI?

Compression on a stock D15B is what... 9:1 ?!? How much more does it need to drop ? Low compression and boost is 20th Century technology... the current crop of Honda Tuning solutions coupled with modern Fuel Injector Technology makes running low compression totally un-necessary. The OP didn't share any compression specs for his engine nor how much boost he is running (above 8psi isn't truly an answer... it is a direction/trend at best).
