torn between JRC and Precision IC
ahhh!!! i don't know which one i should get. 1 theres the JRC which i've heard that is cheap and reliable and many good things said about it. 2 theres the precision that has nothing but good things said about it. which one do i get? im gonna be runninng a sc50, rc 550's, hondata, neukin mani, prolly lookin around 300hp. so thats either the JRC 6" or the precision 350. i don't know, help me!

Obviously go with the JRC 8" intercooler, flows better, way cheaper, taller which leaves room for upgrades
Upgrade something else, go with a stainless d/p or invest it in some tuning
Why waste money when it isnt necessary

precision definitely flows better than jrc, look at the cores. I was/am thinking about getting a jrc 8" but i dont know how efficiently it will support over 400hp....

true, from looking at the cores, one can assume that the jrc cools quite well, given the fin density. of course, it might not be as free flowing as the precision core.

so i guess you could look at it like this.
buy the jrc, save a few bucks and run a tad bit more boost to make up for the pressure drop (which is which is around .5)
buy the precision, pay out the ***, get an even lower pressure drop than jrc, something around .2psi, oh, cant forget teh cool precision logo on the endtanks, lol

i've had both a 6 inch johnnyracecar and now i have a precision 350 hp capable IC.
the johnnyracecar was fine... but the material was soooo thin and weak.. i remember the fins could bend with the slightest touch pretty much- i remember pulling it out of the packaging.. having the fins hit the carboard box.. and then denting a bunch of fins...
the precision IC however is very heavy duty... I definately think i could bend the JRC IC in half if i felt like it.. but i doubt i could with the precision IC
keep in mind this was an older JRC, but people have said the newer ones are nicer.... but i have yet to see it...
