Too rich at idle!!!!

Default Too rich at idle!!!!

i have a 97 Civic HB.. i have installed a turbo kit with mitsubishi eclipse 440cc/min injectors walbro fuel pump.. i have a apexi S-AFC in order to lean the mixture and compensate for idle ... still i have an over rich condition just off idle .. the car smokes crude gasoline trough the tailpipe.... what can i do to solve the problem???

how lean are you running the AFC at idle? Are you going to the 1000rpm mark and leaning it out?

There is the posibility the stock fuel pressure regulator doesnt' flow well enough to relieve the excess fuel pressure from teh fuel pump. yet for some reasn, i don't believe the fuel pump realy provides increased pressure at idle

well im running at minus 50% .. the maximum allowable... i have the low throttle setting on 0% trh.. so is there..... and still the crude gas pass trough the exhaust

if you are -50% and it's still super rich, something is wrong. Check your base fuel pressure, and check for any vacuum leaks.
