Default timing belt

mods sorry if this is the wrong place but heres my question i dont know what im doing wrong but when i put on my timing belt on my LS turbo integra the tensioner is all maxed out and i still cant get the damn belt on from the bottom or the top. if i try real hard it goes on the top but still the tensioner is maxed out witch cant be good. i have skunk2 pro series cam gears a oem honda t belt.

what belt are you using? if its the stock honda one it should go on without too much of a fight, its easier with 2 people one to push from the bottom and the other to get it over the cam gears. if you are using one of those heavy duty belts like a greddy they are very stiff and its hard to get on sometimes

stupid question, is it an old belt you used before, or did someone possibly give you a b16 belt?
