Default Timing 13:1 turbo

I have b20 13:1 with +8000rpm 17° 91 oct
Turbo 1 psi - 1 degree
In theory 8 psi - 9° +8000rpm
Should it be fine? Or does the general rule of 1 psi 1 degree not work with so much compression?
1 psi 1 degree like 10-11cr?
1 psi 2 degree like 12-13cr?

When i had my hondata s300, on my newly built 84mm 10.8 compression b16 block, i did -2 degrees for every pound of boost. A tuner friend said that was still aggressive., but close. Also that -2 degrees was just a good starting point. I believe at the time i was on 104 octane. You will definitely need better fuel! And a dyno to safely see where you start to detonate at. Knock headphones will prolly work on the street

10.8cr 104oct 1 psi -2 degrees
13:1cr 91 oct sounds like impossible

What cams do you have?? Something with huge overlap may bleed the 13:1 down to something lower. Overall tho it's counterproductive. You probably won't be able to run enough timing to make power....

See how static compression affects effective compression based on boost pressure.

13:1 with big cams will have tight tolerances. Ideally you should have piston to valve clearance, and valve to valve clearance known so you know how far you can adjust your cam gears in either direction, safely, without exhaust valves running into intake valves, or pistons running into valves. That requires a good bit of time, claying the motor, etc.

That's a lot of compression to run 91 turbo. I'd run e85 and not expect to put much boost into it.
