On my way home I hear this tiking sound? thought it was an exhaust leak, the more you floor it the louder it gets, I checked and it sounds like its coming from the intake manifold? I recently changed the intake manifold to a b16, can a leak from the manifold cause that sound?

 

Sounds lile a bent valve dude....you should pullthe valve cover and check it out

 

you probalby just need to readjust your intake valves...if it's coming from that side, but it could be from any valve, so do all of them whiel you're under the valve cover

 

Are you sure it's not the normal sound from the wastegate? The closer you get to boost, the ticking sound should come.
