Default Ticking Noise From ValveTrain

Ok guys, I need Some help here.
Yesterday I went to the track for the first time with the Teg.
Here is the setup
Stock USDM GSR
Drag Kit running 8 PSI, 550cc Injectors, 255 Intank. I made 250Hp/191TQ
I did My Burnout at the Box, Felt Asleep at the Light, and ran a 14.2 at 103.
Car ran good, came around to the Lines again and shut the car off. When it was time
to go again, I turn the car on and I can hear so Ticking from the Motor. The car Idles perfect and run good but I havent Pushed it after the I hear it. I didnt Miss a gear . Could It be that I need to adjust my Valves???
Any help would be appreciated.

you sure your not hearing things and it was there before? Valve adjustments aren't very hard at all. You shouldn't have much trouble.

It could be you lost motion assemblies. I had this problem also, and 3 of my lost motion assemblies were bad. No more ticking after it was fixed.

they are these little cylinder shaped things in the valvetrain that i guess lock your vtec lobes on when vtec engages right?

how many miles are on the car.

anyone know the recomended timeframe for an adjustment on a fully built valvetrain. i thinking it's 1000 miles, but not sure.

and every 15,000 there after.

I think its what the VTEC lobe hits when its not in use. I have heard what you said, but definition made more sense to me (given the name).

Disclamer- I definitely do not know what i'm talking about!

The car only has 60000 miles, I have only Put 2000 Miles after Turbo Install. I had heard them from before, but Only a little Bit. Not Like now.
