Default Ticking noise

Hey guys this may not be relevant to FI but since i have a JRSC i am going to post it here. Over the past couple of months i have heard a ticking noise and it is gettin louder and louder. I cant figure out what it is. i lift the hood and i can hear it but i can really hear it if i get down on the ground near the front bumper. It has boggled my mind on what this is i have been thourgh everything 2 times or more, its defanatly not an exaust leak i have redon bolts gaskets the whole nine yards. As i said before i have been through everything.

Any help would be wonderful, please solve my query.

I dont mean to be rude, but dont you think thats the first thing i would check along with the pulleys and there bearings since they are renoud for going bad.

I am tring to figure this out and any simple thing that can be thought that it could be has been gone through.

It's easier to just assume everyone is an idiot, than trying to pick and choose who you think is actually intelligent about what they have. Unless he knows you, I think he's perfectly fine asking you if you checked the obvious.

Now, to answer your question, it could be your water pump going out. Same exact symptoms at idle [a ticking noise]. This went on for about 1.5 months, then it started leaking coolant.

This ticking noise is happening all the time i went through the belts valves exaust, ect. it does not sound like a crank or rod bearing, it cant really describe what it sounds like except for a ticking. i can hear it when driving around 2500 and 3000 rpms cause my exaust goes quite enough there for me to hear. at idle i can hear it if i get down next to the front bumper.

Maybe your manifold is leaking at the flange. See if the bolts on your manifold aren't tight enough.
