I was curious (and couldn't really tell 100% from the pics I found), is the Tial 35mm wastegate larger than the 38mm? I have a 35 which seems huge and would like a smaller one. I have seen tials that are smaller but don't really have one to compare. Anyone know or have a picture with both side by side?

 

The wastegate itself may look bigger but the valve is 3 mm smaller.

 

Yeah, I know the size of the valve may be different but i'm talking the actual size of the whole wastegate itself. So if you were to hold it in your hand one would be larger than the other.
