tial flanges

Default tial flanges

is there any way for me to tell if this flange is aluminum or the mild steel flange they offer..theres nothing on the box to determine.

put a magnet to it.

if it sticks it mild, if not its AL

if you dont specify aluminum it will come with mild, usually.

this flange is not attracted to magnets so i assume its aluminum

stainless is not magnetic either... if its light its aluminum if it is heavy its steel. if its magnetic its mild, if its not its stainless

yea but tial offers only aluminum OR mild steel flanges as far as i know so being that its non magnetic it has to be aluminum.. and it is pretty light

comes in...

aluminum - light, no rust, not magnetic
mild steel - heavy, will rust, magnetic (comes by default from tail if not specified)
stainless steel - heavy, no rust, not magnetic
