Default Tial BOV install

My tial bov came with two springs. A tall one and a shorter one. Do these go in the flange then the BOV on top of it then i vband clamp it down? Or actually which one do i use rather?

i wonder why they gave me wastegate springs for my bov. Ok so the bov just bolts right up to the flange on the intake pipe right?

how the heck do you compress the spring enough so that it goes in and you can clamp it down. Are you all using a spring compressor or something. I can't get it to sit in correctly.
