Omni sells 68 and 70mm throttle body for $100.00 here on Honda tech if I'm not mistaken. Look here...

https://honda-tech.com/forums/showth...=omni+throttle

That 70 should help you with. Make sure you port match the throttle and intake manifold.

Actually, they look awsome but you won't see me putting on a billet throttle for looks. It about reliabilty for me and fair price. I actually have the omni 68mm throttle installed to my port match skunk2 intake manifold....

Is there a throttle body inside diameter to HP requirement ? E.g. 70mm ID for 500whp. I'd imagine they'll come a point when there is a restriction. When i was a NA guy i always seen aftermarket throttle bodies as totally pointless... Now i'm a FI guy i'm a bit more open minded towards them and see there been a restriction there... In the same sense as when you "kink" a hose pipe with the tap fully open.

We use the 70mm on a lot of NA setups for better throttle response. not just power.
Not really a "requirement".

IMO, I think it becomes a restriction when you have for example, a 70mm throttle body and a stock 61mm intake manifold.....

True, but if port match the best you can, you'll be ok. As long as it isn't THaT much of a disparity

If you have your throttle set screw adjusted properly , which means unplug the IACV and adjust set screw to 800rpm then the throttle plate will not stick on a Billet unit.

OP I'm running a Billet SRP 70mm on my setup, works great, very nice throttle responce when running larger TB but part throttle gets a little more involved in tuning but very doable and if this is a track only car then it doesnt matter much

Made 650whp on a Skunk2 mani and stock throttle body, 25 psi. My 2 cents.

I am running a Q45 throttlebody right now... I only like OEM throttlebodies, due to them not sticking and does not leak too much airflow (so you can choose to idle the car at 850 RPM without problems).

The Q45 throttlebody also has a variable throttle pulley, so the initial 5-10% throttle pedal movement only moves the throttle plate slightly for better driveability and control. It's perfect if the car is still a street car and goes through traffic jams on a regular basis.

A couple of years ago, I was running a stock Supra 2JZ-GTE throttlebody (68mm). It also has the same features and relaible like an OEM piece. Worked well until I felt I wanted to go bigger.

Thought I would share my experiences after I had issues with almost every aftermarket throttlebody I have purchased over the years. None of them feels "right" if you know what I mean. Most aftermarket units either felt too stiff at the pedal, or likes to stick (especially in cold winter climates), or they idle the car way too high for my liking.
