waaaayy too expensive. I don't even know of many race cars using these. Get sleeves for much less and use the extra money for other things.

i just got one , and let me tell you this thing is sick , it has bigger cooling passages than a sleeved stock block and it is closed deck cast that way , and also billet steel main caps , and not to mention the sleeves are dry sleeves so no need to worrie about them droping or leaking , mine will be done in about 3 weeks and will have some new dyno #'s with it , but so far i think if you are going all out and want the best block you can get this is it ,

I know TBONE is running one in his all motor car. I plan on running one here in the future as well. I sell the blocks so if there is any questions I can answer directly let me know.

I know someone who was running ls/vtec turbo + nitrous and threw a rod through the side of their dart block.

I think I would cry. lol

I have 2 questions?

one- So is their a need for a oil supply to the head like with a ls/vtec conversion or is it supplied through the block as in gsr?

two- are the 2 big holes in the back of the block already so you can use a breather kit such as the endyn one?

there is oil supply in the block just like on any other vtec block , but the dowels can be moved for eather head from what i seen on it , and the plugs in the back are 3/4" pipe thread , so no the endyne will not work unless you get creative with the fittings

Looks like a Lovefab sidewinder.

IMO not worth it at all. So many cars are making such big power on sleeved stock blocks that I see no need to shell out so much more money for a dart block. If a sleeved stock block is good for the fastest street hondas in the world it's good enough for me.

definately not a v2 sidewinder, doesnt look love-fab at all, it usually had runners different than that, if so, the v2 is not an improvement, that one is compact, perfect why change

The big holes on the back of the dart block are 3/4"npt. I modified some 3/4"npt to -8 fittings to make it work.

Im sure if sanctioning bodies allowed these there would be a lot more interest in them, but as far as I know they are still outlawed in NDRA and NHRA....

i think ndra allows them and nhra doesn't, at least it says ndra legal in the dart ads.

hmmm... I will have to look into that... Still seems alot more logical and cheaper to just sleeve a block.....

It is.

I went with the tall Dart block so I can run a 92mm stroke and have a 1.69:1 R/S ratio
