thinkin about goin LSVTEC
im thinkin about sellin my turbo kit and just goin all motor. i know you guys are probably goin to throw a socket wrench at me for sayin this... but im gettin tired of the maintenance and the daym twitching eye lookin for cops. haha
i heard about guys gettin pulled over and gettin the hood popped on... gettin sent to a referee and then havin to strip off the turbo kit. it just plain sucks.
i figured... LSVTEC will run me $1500 complete and save me the drama. plus, i heard its a good combo to break me into the 14's no doubt. im only in the 14's rite now with 6-7 lbs of boost. same shiet... if you ask me. just less worry and tuning.

Your gonna need more then just the head to break into 14's. I've seen basic LS/Vtec swaps in hatches that could only muster high 14's. Stick with the boost, you should know it's the best route with B18b. Where's the turbo Fever? pssssssh

Just stick with it... much more potential with the turbo LS. And you have it installed already! If you have to go to the referee, just take the kit off and get it checked and put it back on. I took off my turbo, got smogged, and put it back on in 9 hours. Do not worry so much! Boost is way more fun than all motor....

its funny... before, people on this board used to tell me that the S-AFC doesnt really do anything for turbocharged cars because of that full throttle limited factor. so i sold the daym thing...
but now.. i see alot of people using it? hmmm better to use one? i wonder...
integrated... nice #s
