I found a near new FMIC on craigslist for $50! It's approx 32 x 12 x 3 with 3" inlets and outlets

It came off an 1987 Rx7

I have a 94 Integra with JDM front end.



I did some measuring through my engine bay behind my bumper(engine's out right now and my bumper is on) and it seems like it would fit but I am wondering how much work would be involved to make it fit properly? What would be involved in making something like that fit? I don't want to hack up my bumper . . . . .

Any idea how much HP an intercooler that size could support?

I plan on a 500 HP build in the near future and I only want to buy an intercooler once.

 

that is the same size intercooler that i have on my jdm fron integra. you will have to mount it as far back as it can go against the bulk head and you will have to trim the bumper cause the piping will go dead even with the bottom of the bumper where it wraps under. and also i dont have a lip for my car but the intercooler sticks out of the bottom by about 1-2 inches this might have been resolved with the lip. so it will fit but it does require a lot of trimming.

 

I used to have the same size IC on my integra but it didnt have the JDM front end. I didnt have to cut the bumper very much. IT looked really clean in the end.
