things i can do to make another 20whp?
ok read my signature... thats a pretty good sum of what i am running. what would be the easiest... (cheapest) way to make another 20whp.... and please, nobody say nawwzzzzzz... however it is spelled in the ricer lingo...thanks
Run 550 injector ..what Comp ratio?...if low, then crank up the boost..Well In my opion D motor are not ment for boost..
anyways, 20whp haa?? Do some weight reduction, hood, empty trunks, do what ever take out at lease about 70 then you gain some power there, then crank up 1 or 2 boost then there you go..
Like everyone said..cranks up the boost. and I think 450 injector is fine for up to 20psi i think..And also do you have a 255 fuel pump..?
That help out too...Change the boost timing?? upgrade cluth??..bigger IC?? little bigger turbo?? ..Wow, you can gain about 50whp if you did all of that correctly and tune it good..

well i thought about a FMIC (my smic is getting like no air... only air is coming off of the tire.) get rid of my 2" DP that is dented in and have a 2.5" DP made. getting a walboro 255l fuel pump...2" turbo to IC pipe.... 2.25" ic to thorottle body pipes. and then if that didnt help.... maybe add a cam and cam gear then make vtec come in a little sooner...re-tune... i think all of that should make a pretty noticable difference.
but one thing i want to change is the spool time. . it doesnt reach 10psi til like 4200 or so. that sucks... it would have a lot more pull if it could spool faster....
what do you all think?

Ah, great quote.
I'd just raise the boost up 2psi, or just get some rods/pistons then up the boost.

phsstt....
no motor swap. this one just went in. i think i am going to get the front end straightened out on my 88 crx, put a dohc black top zc in it.... and have a weekend beater.... then maybe finish a few touches on my hatch, sell it and buy something luxurious? then again, maybe not?

hey man, just put in some new rods and pistons and crank that up to like 20+psi. Then just hold on to your hat. My buddy has a turboed d16y8, built and he runs 25psi and KILLS ALL.
Like everyone else has said...
bigger DP
bigger turbo
fmic
more fuel
Isn't 4200 kinda high for full boost on the stock Greddy turbo? I thought they were really small.

yea. it is a t25 turbo.. small as hell, but spools slow? i wish i could make it spool faster. and i am not replacing rods and pistons... im not tearing back into the engine. 450cc injectors should be fine.... but im not worried about it anymore.. probably selling it anyway.

You sir, are retarded. It is alright to know nothing, but don't pretend it's something. You are correct that D-series engines were not meant to be boosted, but then again, neither was ANY Honda engine (sans the Turbo City engine from the 80's and the SC'd JDM Integra that never went into production)...weight reduction does not net power, it makes more effective use of power because the car is lighter, are you suggesting to remove the hood, ricer? I hope not, though it would be 2F, 2F (bling!)...Still awake, man? 450cc injectors are not sufficient for 20psi. You would be running mad rail pressure at that point and maxing out dutycycle. I would not run less than 550cc at that point, though it could be done with 450's, you would be asking for trouble. Change the boost timing? what are you trying to say here; "advance the ignition timing?" Well, I would assume he is running fairly advanced timing, but THIS is a possibility. I will give you that. However, upgrading the clutch?! The man didn't say; "Hey, my clutch is slipping, how can I make another 20whp and have it be completely useless because I'm retarded?"
Otherwise, you just listed a bunch of **** that everyong else did. christ. I am just getting annoyed with the circles of BS on this board...can we make some progress?!
But, I digress...I would say get rid of that wack 2" downpipe, you could also get an electric exhaust cut-out (significant gains have been seen even over full 3" systems, though mostly torque and spool-up) and the larger intercooler could gain you 10+hp. Also, the o2 housing on the Greddy kit is a little tweaked, since it allows for a/c, but there's no way around that without drastic changes.
I hope no one hates me for ranting there, but I felt it needed to be done

He should spend his money on a real IC first
If you have a dremel, P&P the head and intake and port match them, then go for a good FMIC, and up the boost 1-2 pounds.
