Default Are these crowers worth it?

I was curious about the crower 62402T and how much they will help with power. on the site it says it requires the retainers/springs to use them(is it?). if rocket reads this, let me know how much your equivalent cams will cost(if you are making one like this). and will these strain the timing belt and possibly cause the timing belt to snap like some high lift vtec cams. what kind of gain could be expected if say the ls is putting down around 200whp already? how do they help the powerband and the torque/hp curves too. thanks.

the neat thing about crowers is that you start out with 2 cams, and after a little while you've got awesome chances of having 16 pieces of cams!!!

stick with stock if it's a choice between either crower or stock.

oh and it's "Back up in THAT *** with the resurrection."

Yes it was an early batch of vtec cams that broke. The non vtecs have always been great. I haven't heard anything bad about the newer crower vtec cams. For newbs spewing misinformation. The ls cams really drop off torque in the high rpms so upgrading is a The 403's work well too.

I've ran both VTEC and NONVTEC and have never broke a set.

The B18B cams are now on their 3rd owner and run fine.
I've been running the Crower B16A cams and valvetrain for 6 months, no problems.

I don't know if they are worth it. I'm not using them on my B16A turbo motor simply because I am too poor to do it.
