I have noticed a number of threads on here about over heating issues with many boosted cars. I too was "thinking" my car was running too hot, but it was actually the gauge. Obviously if you are getting temps from a diagnostic other than the gauge it is probably accurate. However, what I did was that I took a thermal temp gun and did a reading on the block and the radiator. The temps were fine after boosting the car on a warm day. It was registering between 180-190 where as the gauge was over 210. Just an FYI for anyone. Anyone have any thoughts on this?
