Default Thee Turbo Kit Question?

What really makes a COMPLETE turbo kit?
What are all the main parts you need to boost a stock motor(D16z6)?

Hook it up Honda-Tech. I don't ask alot of questions. So just give me some straight answers. Thanks Dudes

depends on your goal.

all out race?
daily drivability?

all out race:

big turbo
gnarly clutch
driveline mods
engine management

weekend warrior:
forged internals
sprung clutch
moderate turbo

if you want something cheap for your d16 you can get

14b turbo from an eclipse/talon
honda hx manifold
an adapter plate will need to be made as well as the
downpipe
oil pan dump tube, w/ fitting for oil pan
oil line to the back of your block
at least a fmu/safc
intercooler with piping
boost gauge

if you have the extra cash you can also get that will make you dd more reliable

better engine mangement (first thing i would get)
better clutch
bigger fuel injectors
fuel pressure regulator
bigger fuel pump
boost contoller
blow off valve

It's going to be a daily driver that has to be able to be implressive. Meaning 3 of my friends have WRX's. So I would like to be able to keep up with these puds when we go up the pig tails. As soon as we hit the highway they are all going like 120mph. My motor stock doesn't stand a chance. I have to go Turbo D16 because I have to pay for my power. It's not givin to me by mom and dad.

If it helps you guys I can kinda give you an idea of what i'm looking for. I'll tell you right now I'm not a ricer or a weight reduction freak. I just want a nice cofortable good looking sounding car, that has the power to still scoot around pretty quick. I have a 92 Civic si (Fat Body), Full interior, 10" sub in the back(I like a nice sounding car), It has about 100sq. feet of dynomat (Recommend to everyone who doesn't mind 80lb extra for absolutly no road noise), Looking into getting some air cylinders for it(I like a nice smooth ride).

So now that I have an idea of what all i need for a complete turbo kit. What would be a good setup for someone with the style of me. Style meaning the way I roll(I.E. Everything i stated befor). Like turbo size, engine management, any boost controler that may be better then the other, intercooler size/brand, some things that would help. and any little things for the engine. besides pistons/cams/lifter/rods/and stuff like that. because I fimiliar that stuff.

I'd absolutely advice against tryin to put down any real power in that car with all of the stereo, dynamat and all that ricer ****, air cylinders, all that stuff is big weight, if you want to be fast and look cool at the same time it's your car and your money but you need to ditch the D16. Go with GOT14U on this one and start with some muscle to begin with. you will even have bumped up the bling factor
