Default Test Fitted my intercooler today (pics)...

Just for fun, I decided to check out how the new intercooler is going to fit behind my hacked bumper. I think it came out pretty good.

Don't mind the bumper...It shall be painted soon.

Nice man I just mounted mine too. Here's a crappy pic in the dark with a flood light, but you get the idea.

both are pretty rough installs, nice IC though. Try a roto-zip style tool next time, and actually planing it out helps too. How much did you guys pay for the medium one?

Yup...same.

Dionsys...To each their own...but in person it doesn't really look bad at all. The IC fits the bumper perfectly, and once painted should look ******* sweet...and when it comes down to it...I'm all about Function over Fashion. However, I think a big ol shinny IC showing thru a modded bumper is way coo...instead of the huge IC tucked behind a stock unmolested bumper.

BailHatch...It was planed out. I'm not exactly sure of who your talking too...but I used a dremel, and razor to cut the bumper...came out very nice...If you don't think so **** YOU...Hahaha. I don't care...because I like it.

Seriously no one here likes Hack jobs? You are all kit-buying-stock-pussies. No imagination.

Bryson- Good to see your trying to get back in the game again. Sweet looking intercooler, I am not really feeling the front bumper, I would have left the blk bumper guard in the front and cut under that so it didn't expose the top of the cooler. But as you said, if you like, thats all that matters.

hehe...of course I'd come back. All I did was sell my ZC setup, so I could purchase a built B18C1. I actually did have the bumper cut exactly like you said (with the black part remaining)...but I then realized that with it out, it leaves a little pocket for air to flow over the intercooler and get to the radiator. The CRX bay does not like to flow air, and the most air I can cram into it, the better. IMO, it does look better with the black peice there...but since I'm all about Function I decided to take it out.

Thanks for da props!

Looks great...the second one can be called a hack job cause its not even straight but I dont see anything wrong with bryson's. I would have done the same thing.
