i have a few probs.. like two.. ok i have a vortech 10.1 fmu.. will that and rotating the distributer .5 degrees let me safely run 6lbs on my zc? and next.. do i need coolant running through the turbo? some say no some say yes.. please help! thanks

I'm not a big fan of FMU's... esspecially with the abundance of resources for TurboEdt/other free ems's. .5 of retard won't do much... you should be fine staying stock. 6lbs ain't much.

I would run coolant. Keep the turbo happier. I have a tdo5h 14b and yea... it was cheap... everyone was like.. its a cheap turbo.. why bother running the lines. I figure why not.. a couple feet of hose and ur done. Also I don't even worry about turbo timing because of the coolant.

ran no coolant lines in my z6 not the same motor but similiar ran great til my ringlands went bad

did you listen to anything i just said.... does your turbo ahve provisions for running both oil and water cooling... heres a simple way to tell.... how many holes are on the middle of your turbo?? (even youcan get this one.... i think)

many people have not run the coolant lines and have no problems in my opinion just a pain in the *** lol, do a search u will find many results bout this!

yeah it has a coolant inlet and an outlet.. i could take it from the throttle body because in new orleans its pretty funing hot.. but anyway.. i thik its too much of a bitch to run but i mean hey if i need it ill do it.. if not then i wouldnt worry about it..
