Default t4

Just wondering if anybody knows what vehicles came with a t4 as a stock turbo. I need the compressor side to matte to my t3. Thanks

another question to add to this:
my t3 is pretty small and I hit max boost pretty quick but it dies at around 5000. I mean it just doesn't make anymore power and totally flattens out. Anyway, I just wanted to know if by changing out the t3 compressor side and putting in a t4, will I experience the same thing as the t3 and have it die out quickly, or will it be able to produce hp levels past 5000? I ask this cuz I know that by keeping the smaller turbine configuration, I will get quicker spool, but I just want to know what will happen on the compressor side. Thanks.

a t4 will be a lot more laggy. you can use a t3 but upgrade to a .63AR, depending on how much you boost and what kind of power you are looking to make will determine what size turbo you need.

well, I'm just looking for the compressor of a t4 to matte to my t3. My t3 right now is pretty small (not sure of the size of the turbine) but it spools really fast! Anyway, I want to know how quickly a t4 will spool with my current t3 as the turbine.

Yah, I heard of diesel trucks having t4's. I got my t3 of a merkur Xr4ti. It's a t3 with a .60 ar on the compressor housing. Not too sure what it is on the turbine but it's pretty small and it spools SO fast!! haha, so that's why I'm interested in taking off my current compressor housing, back plate and wheel and swapping that of a t4. but my concern is if it'll still spool too quickly and die out around 5000. Do I need to clip my turbine as well to prevent this?

clipping will probably help, or your compressor may just be too small, but if it is the hot side that is holding you back you dont want to put a T4 compressor on it.. you would be better off selling it and buying a T3/T4 that is a better suited size for your needs...

I am trying to decide what turbo to buy myself right now...

you should think this way.. you would have to buy a T4 turbo for around $200, and then pay to have it balanced (I dunno what that costs).. say thats $300 total..
you could prolly sell your turbo for $100, then buy a used T3/T4 for $400 and you have the same price for a turbo that will definately have a stage 3 turbine and a well suited compressor (who knows what size compressor a diesel truck uses??)
