Default T3/T4 How much Hp ???

I am currently building a B16a and I am wondering what kind of power my current turbo will make? It it a T3/T4 with a 50A/R stamped on the compressor housing. I do not know alot about turbo sizes yet so I was hoping for your help. Will I need a bigger turbo to make over 400 whp?
Any help would be great.
Thanks

It will make 400 whp, but it helps to know what size turbine housing you will be using.

Weird I was going to ask that same question. My tuner thinks that 400 can be done but is out of the turbos effiecency range. That is my goal on 20 psi with AEM EMS, on 720 injectors on race gas. I think its possible. I have a built motor also.

I am aiming for 400 whp with a b16 but I guess I will need a bigger turbo.

There is no way a t3/t4 will boost 28 pounds and make power. It will top out of power in the low 20ish pounds. It should be good for maybe 375-400 running high boost.

im sure you could squeeze put the 400 hp, probably 500 with a big configuration, i know on VW vortex, this guy billyT, on his 1.8T put 405whp with a t3t4, you would have to prolly get the biggest trim t3t4 for 500 whp maybe maybe not

to make big power, just add more boost, the t3t4 is a good T
but the question is this:

Can your internals and engine management withstand the 400whp???

I would be realistic first, get the kit running in the 200's first, then go from there

I already had this kit on my car and I was running 9 psi. My best time was a 12.9@ 108 mph. Now it is winter where I live and my motor is out and getting built. I am asking this about my turbo because I am just wondering if I should upgrade now while it is a ll apart.
