Default T25 vs. T3

I am putting together a custom set-up on a d16z6 and have a Greddy manifold that had a T3 flange welded on it. I want to use a t-25 turbo because I'm planning on low boost, 5-7 psi, and I want it to spool up quickly. Does anyone know a shop in portland that could make a flange or adapter for me. The manifold is cast-iron. Should I just use a T3 turbo instead? will there be significantly more lag?

If you use a Garrett T3 with a .48 a/r exhaust turbine, it won't be very laggy at all. Garrett T3's with .48 a/r exhaust turbine and 50 trim compressor wheels came in many Saabs and Volvos. It will spool quick and give some pretty good power overall.

I have a Airreasearch T3 in imaculate shape for sale. $350 and I will pay the shipping. You can get a piece of steel slap for your flange at a metal shop or your local sears sometimes they have em.

This t3 spools at around 3500 rpms on a 1.5L DX motor. lettme know if your interested

PS
The T25 will spool quicker and hold boost, but a t3 gives you more options

by options...i think he means if you ever decide to go bigger. T3/t4 turbos have a pretty high resale value and seem to always be in demand.
