Default T04E rpm boost range

Can you estimate boost rpm range as well as what rpms i should make good power to. Setup: T04E 57 trim, .60 A/R Compressor, .63 Turbine, log manifold, 2.5" ic piping

Are we talking starting boost mid 2k-3 up to 5.5-6k? or is it starting higher like 3.5-4k up to 7k?

All input is appreciated!

That was my concern. I figured with the log manifold i could get a quicker spool. I was hoping to be able to make power to 7k after valve work, cam, pistons, rods, lightened/balanced crank etc...Is that even possible? What will porting the head or swaping the head get me? I've heard of getting to 7k but from what i hear that doesn't mean power is being made to 7k. What do you think is the best solution...getting the .48hot/.50cold instead of .58hot/.63cold or trying to make power in higher rpms?

Now...one of the main reasons for not being able to make power @ higher revs is because of the 8.8 compression right? Could i get custom pistons with something like 10:1 or something to be able to make power higher?

Thanks for the info...a big help!
Are you still talking about stock internals? And what did you tune with?

I'm planning to boost in the spring and going with the 48/50 sounds like a plan. I will be swapping in the H22 manual trans in place of my auto so that should give me some extra tq and get me movin faster. I think getting around 270 whp if i can will be plenty for now and then improve internals later for higher boost and power.

Just curious...what kind of power do you think you could get running on 20-25 psi? Are we talking 325-350 or more?

What clutch are you using?
