Default T Bolt Clamps

I found them @ Napa for under $3.00

How do you think they stack up to these. But these clamps at TH.com are twice as much.
http://www.turbohoses.com/Clamp.htm

Do you think the Napa ones will be sufficient?

Here are some Refference Sites I found on these clamps.

I'm going to pick up 24 of them. 12 for me and 12 for my friend.

I'll let everyone know how they hold up...

As long as they hold up better then the crappy hose clamps that came with my RevHard kit. Then I'll be happy.

These suck.

You can get them cheaper through mc-mastercarr. I have been buying those, and silicone piping connections from them for awhile now. 3 ft of silicone hosing is around 30.00! The t bolt clamps are around 2.25-2.50!

T bolts work great just not on aluminum piping. they tend to bend aluminum. I use all cheap clamps and they have never blown off on me ever. not even at 28 psi of boost.

Would that stop the pipe from bending?

No. It would stop the need for T Bolt clamps.

Could you post part numbers from mc mastercarr. I have that thick *** catalog and looked for both those parts bt couldnt narrow it down to the needed ones.
Thanks

I cant find my invoices from them. I usually find the stuff on their online site in minutes. I have a wholesale account with them, so my pricing is a little bit better than the online price.

Theres about a hundred different grades of the regular worm drive type hose clamps. Maybe these other guys who had problems were using a cheaper grade. There is a company called ABA who mfg. high grade hose clamps. I doubt anybody would have any problems if they used those.

Look good. I would get the largest clamp that will fit and tighten it down. If you run a smaller clamp, since it's not actualy a straight shot where the bolt is, it looks like when you tighten it up, the clamp will deviate from round, bending the tube out of round also.(straight bolt, round clamp)

In the picture, do you see how the bolt, is touching the band and pushing it in?

If you bent the bolt slightly in the middle if needed, that problem would be solved.

Correct, bead roll the piping on the end and it wont blow off. I spoke with rosado racing who is making in the 800hp range. they use all cheap clamps with bead roll piping and have no issues.

Thank you! Your post came just in time, as I was just about to order some T bolt clamps for all my aluminum piping to go with my new silicone hose from turboho$e$.com. What I plan to use now are Breeze's constant torque clamps instead. I would've crushed my aluminum piping as I tend to overtorque things. This place here has the best prices on clamps that I've seen:
