I got a Garrett T-3 and it has the turbine hole and a little hole next to it. If I block this hole with the down pipe what will happen?

I think it's for an internal wast gate witch I'm not using. I am using an external wast gate. I need to know if I cover this up with the down pipe will it hurt anything?

yes that little hole was for the old wastegate. most guys just get that hole welded but its not really necessary

 

So I can just leave it and put the down pipe on................
