i think swiftperformance has been getting railed on recently for downpipes not fitting and delay of orders or something. run a search

 

they dont respond to half their emails either

 

i remembered a post a little while back that he is going back to school and won't be able to start making more dp's for a bit. As far as not answering emails he probably just hasn't had time to check.

 

do not buy the intercooler kit. i bought one from him, took 3 weeks and i did not get enough piping to complete it, would not fit right

 

I just canceled my order today.

He said he sent it a while ago(should been here 2 weeks ago) and I've been asking for tracking #'s, and never recieved one. I'm just gonna get my refund and I'm ordering a revhard IC/piping kit. This way I know it'll fit. Just waiting on my refund to be put into my paypal account.

John is a nice guy, but I think he just got in over his head on the orders.

 

The month of August was a complete and total disaster for us, and I definitely admit that some orders were seriously delayed and in some cases botched completely. I was in the middle of moving, had two serious injuries and my supplier for flanges ran off with a $1000 payment (wtf? I know) so I was desperately trying to get everything done in the midst of all that. Because of my second injury I had a friend ship out five orders of downpipes, some of which were sent to the wrong customers hence the problems with fitment. Unfortunately, I only recently discovered that this was the case and I had already refunded those orders.

I'll be resuming production in about two weeks, but in the mean time I do apologize for any emails of IMs that I didn't get back to. There have been several stretches of three or four days were I haven't been able to get to a computer at all for any reasonable length of time, so I've been giving priority to those who have already made orders.

If there's anyone out there that has had any problems had has had trouble getting in contact with me please email me at john@swift-performance.com and I'll do whatever I can to make things right. Everything is finally starting to settle down so there shouldn't be any more long gaps in communication or service.

On the good side I now have access to the machine shop of my dreams and not only will the quality of my parts improve quite a bit, but I can get things done in about half the time it used to take me. However, I will be cutting back on the number of orders I take to insure that I can get everything built and shipped out on time.

 

I still have yet to recieve my tracking #. I've asked 4 times so far and I've gotten 4 replies saying that John would get me one. I still haven't recieved it.

He told me the piping shipped off like 3 weeks ago and then he said that he didn't ship it because of the fact he didn't have my address and that he would have his friend ship it(this was a paypal transaction with my address attached), and it still hasn't arrived.

I have no idea whats going on at this point.......
