I'm sorry but wouldn't that defeat the purpose of having a heat exchanger insulated?

 

If you are talking about the Black Coating they offer, then yes I have it. I have not installed my kit yet. I got it for stealth and hoping it will help a little. But it is probably not a cost effieceint upgrade.

after speaking with a rep from swain tech, i was told that the coating does work. i just want to know if anyone has experience with it. from my understanding, it does not insulate the IC(air/air).....why would u?

 

it is costly...upwards of $100+.

 

i guess if your all out racing then its worth the 100plus bucks.

i havent worked there for a while now. FYI a lot of people have problems with the DP fitment....
