it has been done before...can't remember if there was ever one on a B series, but there is a Subaru Legacy on HMT that is both supercharged and turboed.....

can't believe ppl are still doing this or why for that matter.

this was done 6-7 years ago but many came to the conclusion that it's useless

it looks cool though.....A for effort

Maybe you didn't read through the thread? The 'many' that came to that conclusion were internet racers that never ran a dual-charged setup, let alone ran a large road course with large straights and tight turns.

The conclusion was that it was better for a *road track/street car* than just a turbo or just a jrsc. If money is no object, it'd be better to go with a screw-type SC. Since they don't make a screw-type or large roots-style SC that are both counter-clockwise spinning and anywhere near reasonablely priced, a JRSC and a big non-bb turbo will be your best bet.

For a drag car, its a no brainer. You really don't only need peak power to go fast in most cases.

This tool sent me a rather nasty PM. Rather than show how foul he is in PM's, I'll just help enlighten the masses. This single post validates the idea. Not the track times showing his car beating BMW's, Miatas, some Minis, and Evos, not the dyno chart, not...well actually they all validate it.
