Supercharger lag?
Does anyone have a jackson supercharger if so any problems. I have a heavy piece of iron under the hood that doesn't work to full power. I'm very lost and have tried everything jackson has suggested. It doesn't seem to work intill after 60 mph, which is a pain in the *** for 1/4 mile racing. I have NOS but don't want to use it intill the charger is working 100%. I have a 98 Honda Civic please any help would be nice.

Check the belts, bypass valve and the manifild to blower seal. You should make boost instantly, by 2500 rpm you should make full boost.

Re: Supercharger lag? (sweethonda)
My first recommendation is to buy a boost guage. At least then you can read if the boost is staying in your motor, or pissing out of you IM. If your boost guage reads 6psi, then tapers down to 3 or 4, you know that you have a boost leak, or your bypass valve is slightly open.
If that's not your problem, you have to look into your tuning. Is your fuel ratio set properly? What about timing?
We need more info to work with here.

Re: Supercharger lag? (hypa)
I agree with hypa. You need to look at Air/Fuel, boost pressures, and timing. Something is definitely amiss if you aren't getting instantaneous boost. I've had my JRSC for over a year, and have had no such trouble.
