supercharger help

Default supercharger help

hi! Yea before flaming me i searched didnt come up wit anything *suprised* anyways wat kind of numbers am i expecting if i go jackoson superchager on civic si 99-00? Is it also true that superchargers are more reliable than turbo? Im jsut a poor student that will probably have enough money to go supercharger but cannot afford the motor to blow up. Plz anyone wit jrsc need ur info on this newbie

...typically about 190-200 hp at the wheels in a base 6psi kit. Tuning, learning about what you want to do, and common sense will determine reliability. Plenty of people have blown up both so it's wash.

If you're a poor student, you will have to consider what you will do if something goes wrong. If you don't have enough money to get it fixed and you miss classes, you may impact your future. If you finish sooner, you can get a good job and buy it all done later, AND have reserves if the need arises. School itself is not forever, but bad grades are -- trust me on this...

BTW, I have a GSR running 10psi on a JRSC - 251 hp at the wheels...

wow thanks for the words roadrunner.... heh made me think there

but in all when i said poor student that baiscally ment was that i have pretty much enough money to make it decently fast with the basic reliabiltiy. Im not really thinking about running 12's or 11's just pretty fast like mid 13's So guys... what do i need... like fuel management wise and other needs to make it safe, daily driveable and fullfill my speedy needs
