Supercharged s2000 question. . .
So I was really planning on turboing my S2000 this summer with a gt30r and going for about 450whp with a nice powerband......
I recently came accross a NOVI2000 charger which puts out 1400cfm max. . .
My question, I know it won't be anywhere near as nice of a powerband, and not as efficent, BUT....Can I make 450whp on a stock motor with it? (I know a turbo setup will make that easily and safely with a good tune. . ) AEM, Intank walbro, and large injectors of course.....And I would most likely fab up a custom FMIC for it. . .
ONLY reason I would do this is because of the cost, again, it will be a fraction of the cost to do the supercharger as it would the turbo if I pick up this blower. . .
Ohh btw people on s2ki know nothing about anything so that's why I'm posting it here lol

Ya know, you don't have to go with all baller parts like ball bearing turbos and Ti exhausts I would honestly imagine you could put together a turbo kit for around the same price as the supercharger kit you are looking at. The turbo would obviously be much more responsive and most likely, longer lasting.
Does the SC kit you are looking at have an intercooler? You figure your going to need allot of the same parts for either kit. The only thing that would be different would be the supercharger itself compared to the turbo and exhaust manifold.

Re: Supercharged s2000 question. . . (White Smoke)
yeah i did think of that....SO if I were to switch in the future i would only need to purchase a manifold, turbo and downpipe and i can re-make the IC piping. . .
But no the kit is just a novi2000 blower, bracket, oil return line, bov, and pipe straight to the TB....only reason i was thinking of buying this, the seller said $900 for the parts i just mentioned....awesome deal if you ask me. .
I was thinking i would buy an IC, and fab up my own piping and make that the aftercooler instead of the water to air setup which most come with. . . buy an aem ems, some injectors, intank pump and crank pulley/belt and thats pretty much a complete setup. . .
