sometimes you hear about turbo ls/vtec's, but has anyone heard of a supercharged ls/vtec? and how is superchargers for reliability? better than turbo i assume?

 

i use to run a ls-vtec supercharge with direct port nitrous. i still have pics of it!by the way with the ls pulley u get 9psi!

a guy from la that had a stock gsr supercharge with two stage nitrous ran 10.9 in a eg hatch(car was tune by erics raceing )but he doesn t go to sacramento raceway anymore.

I'll tell you in about 6 months. I'll be running ls/vtec supercharged with a ton of nitrous on golden eagle sleeves. Should be somewhat fast.

 

the longer stroke of the LS and B20 seem to take very well to the positive displacement supercharger. Expect wheelspin in 1st-3rd at anything over 8psi, but it will be a hell of a fun setup.

 

what is a positive displacement supercharger?

 

I have been happy with my set up on a stock lsvtec and JRSC with cometic head gasket. I used the cometic to bring the compression down to 9:1 compression.
