Supercharged b20?
Well, I did simply ask for experience in the area, so I guess I had this coming. A lot of what everyone has said are things I've been gathering since I put this post up. I am now more aware that turbos and SCs are going to be running pretty even in lower range prices. I have no experience piecing a turbo together for an all around less costly setup, so that is something I will have to look into more.
There are a lot of names and brands being thrown around so I will be sorting through all the suggestions for sure... Due to my inexperience I dont know much about compressor maps and all, so I will be doing a lot of research there too.
In my research I have seen some guys running about 7 Psi on stock b20s for their DDs. I have heard you can get up to 10-12 without immediate engine damage, but these guys arent running them all the time either.
For those who asked, yes b18 head. No its not Vtec
.
Thanks for all the information guys, sorry that I did not really have a definitive question and I probably should have done some more research before posting.

My goal is really to get experience. This is my first build/honda and I really want to try a lot of stuff and learn as I go (this is what I have been doing) which is why i was open to trying turbo or SCs. I'm not looking to kill everyone on the streets YET... I still have a lot of learning to do.
As far as power goes I'm thinking about 7-8 psi so I can still drive it daily and not have too much worry about engine damage. I'm not sure what that would be pushing for hp.
I do have some other ideas for the engine not relevant to forced induction... but I do plan on upgrading fuel injectors and all that good stuff as I go with the build (probably internals eventually). I'm not just planning on slapping a turbo on and thinking that's all I need done haha.
