Stuttering problem solved - MAP
FYI peoples.
I have been having the worst WORST stuttering ever. Whenever the motor would come close to 0 ATM and 1-2 psi of boost it would mis-fire and putter sometimes just die. Very annoying when driving in traffic. No codes either. JOY!!
Fix:
If you have a Missing Link CLEAN it regularly. I cleaned mine about 4-5 times within the last 3 days. I think I finally have it fixed. I ended up spending more cash than I needed to this past week; fuel filter, cap and rotor. The whole time it was the MAP acting up.
When in doubt when stuttering occurs check your MAP.

I used carb cleaner then sprayed it down with WD-40/PB Blaster.
The kicker was the small bleed hole. I tried a needle, it was too big. My friend frayed some wire and stuck it all the way through. That finally got all the dirt out.
More symptoms:
Sometimes when coming to a stop the motor would die. Idle was very low sometimes.
Ran like poop overall.
Close to boost it would stutter, pop, backfire, misfire. Sometimes run Code 3, MAP.
If you throttle up very quickly the motor would have to play catch up. Like no spark for a complete revolution.

I'm gonna try that tonight. I have the EXACT same symptoms as you did. And it's just getting worse everyday- Thanks.

Also check for flat rubber washers too. One of mine was flat and changing it made an idle difference also. Be sure to reset your ECU too.
Just don't stick anything into the Missing Link, ie pencil. It is hard to put back together....
