Default Stupid Jackon Racing..

I cracked my JR mani on the third runner running at only 8.5 lbs. Needless to say Im pissed, I dont know why that would ever happen. I'll try to get some pics up to show you'll. Anyone else have this problem? I've never heard of it before.. Im gonna pull the engine this weekend and see if the fans are still in good shape. ****** A..

Anyway, what should I do next?

Were you running the support brace? I've never seen a manifold that cracked with the brace installed. It's required that you run it if you want it repaired under warranty.

Yep, the braces were on, though I dont think they helped anything. You'll see what I mean if I can find a digicam. Im like the 3rd owner of this kit, so I dont think JR is gonna repair it for me anyway.

I'd probably just get the crack repaired. Its in the runner right? Not on the housing?

I agree.
Anyone with Tig experience can make short work of a small crack, and you won't have the downtime of dealing with Jackson.

or get the LHT, think they would still consider your manifold to be a good core?

Send it to us , We will fix it for you cheap.
If you would like an intercooler modification we would do it to your manifold and fix the crack for free. Good luck!

For other jackson racing owners: Make sure the support bracket is tight, Even when installed but slightly loose it can still cause cracking.

once you get the manifold, about how long does it take till you guys are done with it and ship it back out? basically whats the downtime on my car gonna be?

i konw the JRSC can only boost about 10psi before the heat can break the blades, but with this it seems that you would be able to spin the blower faster more safely and create more boost.

im really intrested in your response, can you PM me any pricing info you might have? i have a built B18c1 and currently running the 8psi pulley and the JR crank pulley.
